Ambassador to the US Evan Paki of Papua New Guinea

Ambassador Paki was wonderful to US, taking care of all our needs in Port Moresby while we visited schools and sought to understand the Papua New Guinea educational system.
Evan Jeremy Paki was appointed Ambassador of Papua New Guinea (PNG) to the United States of America in March 2003.
We need to look at this issue from all different angles,'' Paki said by phone from Washington.
Paki has been the link between Samaritan Aviation and the PNG government.
Paki said hes enjoyed his time here and would like to return to ski and hunt.

PAPUA New Guinea’s unique art and culture that has fascinated people the world over could disappear if not supported and safeguarded, PNG Ambassador to the United States Evan Paki has warned.
The challenge is to preserve and safeguard what we have, because if we as a nation do not meet that challenge, and if you, those who love and appreciate our country’s art do not support US in this endevour, our limited available talents might disappear without passing on their talents to the next generation of artistes,” Mr Paki said in his speech.
Mr Paki praised the Friede family for supporting and promoting PNG art in America.
Ambassador Paki took much of 1999 off from Baker McKenzie to work with a group of prospective United States investors, pursuing various investment ventures and opportunities in Papua New Guineas mining and petroleum sectors.
Ambassador Paki had earlier completed his secondary education in Australia and PNG.
Mr Paki comes from the private sector and will succeed the former Ambassador to the United States of America Sir Nagora Bogan.
