Lomaloma was invited to say a few words and spoke briefly and warmly about the strong ties and mutually supportive relationship between the Embassy staff and the Friends of Fiji, and his hopes and confidence that this would continue.

United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon Medal.

Lomaloma is a member of the Reserves of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and saw active service in 1983 with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, where he was awarded the UN.
